My go to place near UC Berkeley when I'm craving some Mexican food - the flavor can sometimes be hit or miss, but when it hits it hits; the sizes are good and the shrimp is really delicious!

I've been sleeping on this place because I didn't like their Al pastor burrito I got years ago because it was all onion and not enough meat. I think I just don't like this particular al pastor. However, when it's done right, I really love their carne asada and crispy pork tacos. It's the right amount of fat and smokiness and a bit oily but nothing too bad. Ask for green salsa and avoid the red. The red salsa is weirdly thick like they put cornstarch. Chips are a little stale. My only complaint about this place is that it's inconsistent. Don't order at 10PM because your meat will be so dry. But it's like, don't open at 10PM if you know your food will be bad...

I wish they had a location in San Francisco because these tacos are truly exceptional. I find myself daydreaming about them! My absolute favorite and go to is the Al Pastor taco - the flavors are just a party in your mouth. The meat is always perfectly seasoned, juicy, and tender, with a little kick that melts in your mouth. I usually order online for pickup since parking in the area is pretty limited, but it's completely worth it for these tacos. The experience, from the first bite to the last, is just that good. The service is decent since there's not much human interaction, it's a simple process of pickup and go.

In April 2016, one of my peers and I signed up for a self-dense class conducted in-person by Channing Way. We met at the building for the morning session, then decided to find a nearby place to eat on our lunch break before returning. As the course required physical exertion, we figured we needed something relatively light that was also filling and would not take too long to get. We settled on food from Tacos Sinaloa, arriving a little off of peak lunch time rush. Placing our orders was straightforward and we were able to find a few spots to eat at a counter. The tacos were available for purchase per taco. I went with three total spanning three meat options and semi-heaped on the pickled carrots. It was a satisfying amount of food for me. Flavors were moderate in intensity and not spicy. Workers were tuned in and the wait time was relatively short.

The tacos here are amazing !!!! Definitely love love love the meat quality ! The service here are fast and friendly ! Such a clean place as well! Definitely would come back.

My family and I stopped for a quick bite at Tacos Sinaloa (truck) for a quick bite before heading to the A's game. Parked along a main road in Berkeley, we easily found a parking spot to get out and enjoy the food. We ordered Asada Tacos, Asada Burritos, Al Pastor tacos and a Jamaica Agua Fresca. All the meat was cooked to perfection. Tender and full of seasoning. The salsas to add on had that kick to get you going and nose sniffling. My favorite was the Al Pastor, they really have that down. CASH ONLY CASH ONLY CASH ONLY Please be aware they are cash only. 2 people run this truck however they were prompt with orders and getting the food out. There is also a nice ledge to eat your food as well. There are no tables in case you would like to sit, but we were very comfortable with standing and eating.
